OTH First Eleven 2023: No. 2 Mylan Graham

New Haven senior and Ohio State commit Mylan Graham.

Outside the Huddle and Blitz are counting down who they feel are the top 50 individual players in northeast Indiana heading into the 2023 season.

Our highest preseason honor, the 5th annual First Eleven profiles the top players (in the mind of Outside the Huddle) entering this fall.

No. 2: WR Mylan Graham, senior, New Haven

When it comes to handing out five stars to prospects, recruiting services are pretty choosy. So when 247Sports has Mylan Graham as a five-star prospect and the No. 17 prospect in the entire country in the Class of 2024, you know the hype is warranted.

The 6-foot-1 speedster is a threat to take it to the house on any play. He AVERAGED 24 yards per catch last season for the Bulldogs. Think about that for a second. Astounding. For the year he caught 48 balls for 1,149 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Graham has elite acceleration that allows him to get off the line of scrimmage and get into his route quickly. He is strong for his size but will need to get stronger at the college level at Ohio State, like most wide receivers do. He is effortless in and out of his breaks and even the tiniest little move can be a gamebreaker.

Graham will also see some action for the Bulldogs on defense, where he had 10 tackles and an INT last year, but New Haven won’t wear him out on that side of the ball and will focus on keeping him fresh for offense and special teams.

COACH’S QUOTE ON MYLAN GRAHAM“Mylan is one of the most athletic players I have ever had the pleasure of coaching. He is as great a kid off the field as he is on. We are looking forward to watching his future success.”– New Haven coach Kyle Booher
