No. 1: Jordyn Poole, Snider

The shining star of the loaded Class of 2024 in the area always has been Poole, who has found new a creative ways to produce on a high level despite changing roster and elements in her first two seasons with the Panthers. She proved to be next level ready in middle school and has continued that pursuit, clearly being ready to go perform at a high level in college after two more years on the high school level.

The emergence of another high volume scoring guard last year at Snider spread out some of the scoring touches, but it didn’t seem to faze Poole’s impact. While averaging a team third best 12.7 points, Poole’s fingerprint was on everything as she was the go to fire starter to get everything going. Every other single stat improved from her freshman season, including 4.4 assists per game and 2 steals per contest. 11 times she had five or more assists on the season, where Snider went 9-0. Her kind of diversity as an athlete has led her to be one of the highest recruited players in Northeast Indiana in the last five years.

Some of her best scoring games last season came against the toughest opponents, including 20 against North Central and 18 opposite Noblesville in the postseason. She hit three or more three pointers eight times in 2021-22, including five against Northrop in January.
