Two teams made the advancement to the state finals last Friday and we had multiple nominees from each team. South Adams’ Trey Schoch was made your FAN CHOICE Semi state Player of the Night, sponsored by Craigville Appliance.
Schoch caught 5 passes for 142 yards and 2 touchdowns and had an interception in a 42-9 win over Lafayette Central Catholic. It earned Schoch 52.74 percent of the over 4,000 fan votes cast.
Other nominees included: Bishop Luers’ Carson Clark, South Adams’ Christian Summersett and Bishop Luers’ Krashaun Menson.
