Girls basketball season has kicked off and there were some quality performances in the first week of action. Northrop Bruin Amanda Thatcher was made your FAN CHOICE for having the Performance of the Week for November 2-7, sponsored by Craigville Appliance.
Thatcher scored 15 points and had five rebounds Saturday in a 61-31 win over Leo. It earned her 46.56 percent of the over 7,800 fan votes.
Other nominees included: Lakewood Park’s Chloe Jolloff, Churubusco’s Mariah Hosted, Lakeland’s Bailey Hartsough, East Noble’s Avan Beiswanger, Garrett’s Bailey Kelham, Norwell’s Kennedy Fuelling, Bluffton’s Emme Boots, Woodlan’s Dakotah Krohn and New Haven’s Kayla Williams.
