Snider’s Michael Eley had the boys hoops Performance of the Week for Feb. 3-8

While the focus last week was on the ladies, there were a few solid boys games mixed in. With that, for the fourth time this season, Snider’s Michael Eley is the winner of a FAN VOTE for Performance of the Week.

Ruoff Mortgage

Eley scored a game high 24 points on Tuesday in a 59-56 win over Bishop Dwenger. It earned him 43.45 percent of the over 4,000 total votes.

Other nominees included Carroll’s Richie Gross, Central Noble’s Connor Essegian, Woodlan’s Joe Reidy, Lakewood Park’s Caedmon Bontrager, Churubusco’s Jackson Paul, New Haven’s Thomas Latham, Westview’s Charlie Yoder, Whitko’s Brett Sickafoose and Blackhawk Christian’s Caleb Furst.

These polls will run each Sunday through the season and are not considered a “player of the week,” but will instead focus on who had best performance in a single game during the week, NOT a body of work during the entire week.

Please note: nominees are selected from statistics provided by teams to Outside the Huddle. Is someone potentially missing? Make sure your coach is submitting game night stats and scoring to:
