Canterbury’s Holidey Stephenson had the boys hoops Performance of the Week for Jan. 20-25

A new face has emerged on the boys side of the FAN VOTE. Canterbury’s Holidey Stephenson emerged as the winner of the boys hoops Performance of the Week for January 20-25.

Stephenson had 23 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists on Saturday in a 78-74 win over Lighthouse Academy. That performance earned him 44.61 percent of the over 2,000 fan votes.

Other nominees were Columbia City’s Mitchell Wilson, Woodlan’s Joe Reidy, Norwell’s Will Geiger, East Noble’s Hayden Jones, Churubusco’s Jackson Paul, Blackhawk Christian’s Caleb Furst, Snider’s Dillon Duff, Westview’s Charlie Yoder and Homestead’s Luke Goode.

These polls will run each Sunday through the season and are not considered a “player of the week,” but will instead focus on who had best performance in a single game during the week, NOT a body of work during the entire week.
