West Noble’s Joel Mast has the boys hoops Performance of the Week for Dec. 9-14

What a big scoring week across the area. So many big performances that it was difficult to narrow down to 12 quality nominees. From that group, the FAN VOTE went the way of West Noble’s Joel Mast for having the Performance of the Week for December 9-14.

Mast scored 26 points on Wednesday in a 46-34 win over Concord. He won 41.25 percent of the over 2,500 fan votes.

Other nominees included Leo’s Blake Davison, Columbia City’s Mitchell Wilson, Churubusco’s Jackson Paul, Bishop Luers’ Demarcus Hudson, Wayne’s Michael Redding, Westview’s Charlie Yoder, Norwell’s Will Geiger, South Side’s Austin Jordan, Concordia’s Brayden Pearson, Angola’s Dyer Ball and South Adams’ James Arnold.

These polls will run each Sunday through the season and are not considered a “player of the week,” but will instead focus on who had best performance in a single game during the week, NOT a body of work during the entire week.

Please note: nominees are selected from statistics provided by teams to Outside the Huddle. Is someone potentially missing? Make sure your coach is submitting game night stats and scoring to: othscores@gmail.com
