Senior offensive lineman Randy Holtz took to Twitter on Tuesday afternoon to announce his commitment to Indiana University.
“First, I’d like to thank the man above for all these blessings and opportunities,” said Holtz in his tweet. “Next I’d like to thank my parents and all of my coaches for helping with rides, homework, studying and simple life skills. For developing me into the man I am today, I wouldn’t be who I currently am without them.
“Now I’d like to thank my teammates. Thank you for the best four years of my short life. You gave me the best memories that I will cherish forever. I am so thankful for all of you and love you guys dearly.”
When speaking to Outside the Huddle recently, Holtz mentioned how he had narrowed his college choices down to Purdue and Indiama. On Tuesday, he made it official that the decision was to head to Bloomington.
The 6-foot-6, 342-pound offensive tackle is rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals.com. he joins fellow Fort Wayne offensive lineman Luke Wiginton of Bishop Dwenger as commits to Indiana’s Class of 2020.
