The Indiana Football Coaches Association on Monday released the rosters for the annual North v. South All-Star Game that will be held this summer.
Northeast Indiana will be well represented on the North roster. At quarterback, Carroll’s Gaven Vogt was named to the squad. Vogt threw for 2,182 yards and 23 touchdowns against nine interceptions last season.
Jordan Presley of Bishop Luers will suit up as a wide receiver. Presley amassed over 2,300 yards of total offense and 25 touchdowns for the Knights as a senior.
Tight end Simon Dellinger of Snider is one of two at his position named to the North squad. Along the offensive front, Alex Kolkman of Bishop Dwenger and Will Swartz of Snider will take part in the game.
On defense, Levi Leffers of Central Noble and Isaac Meyer of Woodlan will line up along the line for the North team. Luke Honer of Angola will also take part as a linebacker.
A pair of local standout players got the nod for the North at outside linebacker and safety in Adams Central’s Logan Macklin and T.J. Tippmann of Bishop Dwenger.
Kaiden Harshbarger of East Noble will also see action for the North squad.
Bishop Dwenger coach Jason Garrett will helm the North squad, with one of his assistants being Saints defensive coordinator Casey Kolkman.
The 53rd annual North/South All-Star Game will be held at North Central High School on July 12. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
