It is time to vote for who you, the fans of Outside the Huddle, think was the top performer in girls basketball in the area during the 2018-2019 season. We here at Outside the Huddle have narrowed a list of players down to 32 that you will vote for and whittle down to just one over the next couple of weeks.
In the first round, there will be four different regions named after our four area conference championship teams. Voting for this first round will last through noon on Wednesday, February 20. The top two vote recipients from each region will then advance to a bracketed top 8 tournament. A complete schedule of the fan voting is available underneath the polls below.
Remember to get in your votes for this opening round by noon on February 20.
Opening round voting: From February 15 through noon on February 20, narrowing the field from 32 to 8.
Quarterfinal voting: From February 20 through noon on February 23, narrowing the field to 4.
Semifinal voting: From February 23 to noon on February 26, narrowing the field to 2.
Final voting: From February 26 to 11:59 p.m. on February 28.
Your FAN VOTE winner will be announced on Friday, March 1 on the same day that Outside the Huddle releases our official All-Area team and our pick for Girls Basketball Player of the Year.
