Patrick Finley of Bishop Dwenger is the Player of the Night for Semi state

Just one team made it through to the state finals but that didn’t stop all three area teams playing in semi state from having a player worthy of being nominated for Player of the Night for the second to last week of the season.

Bishop Dwenger’s Patrick Finley got the nod in the FAN VOTE after he had an 83 yard touchdown reception for the Saints’ only points on Friday in a 10-7 loss to Valparaiso. Finley is the third different Saint to win a Player of the Night this season.

Finley earned 34.19 percent of the over 1,000 votes. He beat out Adams Central’s Alex Currie and East Noble’s Bailey Parker, Joe Painter and Hayden Jones.

This was the final Player of the Night FAN VOTE for the 2019 high school football season.

Stay tuned for our FAN VOTE where you can make your choice for Player of the Year.
