Record breaking performances and big efforts in critical and upset wins made up the week in girls basketball. In the end, it was Leo’s Hannah Adams who was selected as the FAN VOTE winner for Performance of the Week for girls hoops, sponsored by Rico’s Barbershop.
Adams earned 35.5 percent of the over 2,000 fan votes. She scored 15 points Wednesday as the Lions upset visiting Angola, 37-35.
Other nominees included North Side’s Nya Coleman, Northrop’s Treva Datcher, Bellmont’s Grace Hunter, Snider’s Niesha Anderson, Jay County’s Shelby Caldwell, South Side’s Lamyia Woodson, Central Noble’s Sydney Freeman and Norwell’s Kaylee Fuelling.
