No. 3: Hallie Schwieterman, Jay County

Hallie Schwieterman returns for her senior season as the big engine of Jay County’s offense. She led the Patriots with 19.5 points per game in 2025–26 and added 4.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 3.1 steals, giving the team a scorer who can also create opportunities and disrupt opponents defensively. Her junior season earned her a place on the Indiana girls’ Junior All-Star team, and she and younger sister Karsyn give Jay County one of the area’s most productive scoring duos.

Schwieterman scored in double figures every single game last season and reached 20 or more points on 13 occassions with a co-season team best 31 points in a win over New Castle, also shooting 71 percent in that game. Schwieterman also had seasons best with 7 assists against Muncie Central and 8 steals opposite Southern Wells – one of 12 games last season where she had four or more steals.

COACH’S QUOTE ON SCHWIETERMAN

“Hallie is our lone senior. We will look to her to set the tone with her leadership and her work ethic. She is one of the best seniors in the state. She is an Indiana All Star caliber player, and we are going to lean on her to help us achieve our goals.” – Jay County coach Donna Buckley
