After just under 200,000 votes in the finals, YOUR CHOICE for the Preseason Player of the Year for Prep Football in 2026 is Maddox Weil of Northrop.
This comes after four rounds of FAN VOTING, our first fan vote of this new high school football season, sponsored by Crazy Pinz.
In the four rounds of play, over 700,000 total votes were cast to bring the field of contenders down from 40 to the chosen one.
Weil was the #1 seed starting in the round of 8 as he was the top overall vote recipient in the first round of voting.
