After more than 1,500 votes, week 9 belongs to Columbia City again after an explosive NE8 title winning performance from Ethan Sievers.
Sievers ran 14 times for 96 yards and a touchdown and caught one pass for 42 yards in a 25-24 win over Norwell to complete a perfect NE8 season for Columbia City, who captured the conference title.
Sievers earned 40.9 percent of the balanced FAN VOTE, topping Leo’s Max Loeffler. Sievers is the third different Columbia City player to earn a weekly FAN VOTE honor this season.
You can vote on the weekly player of the night starting each Saturday and running through the following Tuesday at 2 p.m.
