Your FAN VOTES have been counted and counted a lot.
After four rounds, the FAN CHOICE for the Player of the Year is Heritage’s Rylan Whitacre.
Whitacre was the top vote recipient in the ACAC Region, which was the first round of voting. Whitacre earned over 1,100 votes in that first round which was tops among all 40 nominees.
In the quarterfinal round, Whitacre earned more votes than Carroll’s Jeff Becker, he then defeated Leo’s Mason Sheron in the semi finals. In the final round, Whitacre earned over 60 percent of the vote against Eastside’s Johnny Eck.
Over 21,000 total votes were cast over all four rounds; Whitacre earned a total of over 9,100 votes himself during that time.
