Who does Bounce have winning all of the girls basketball area conferences this season? Well that is why you clicked on this article isn’t it?
There should be some really fun races with not a single conference being wrapped up by any means now. You’ve seen our countdown of where teams are as we start the season but this isn’t that. This is where we see teams at season’s end. Bounce will give you his predicted order of finish for all four area conference.
Agree? Disagree?
SUMMIT ATHLETIC CONFERENCE
1. Snider
Why: The Panthers are still young right now, so at season’s beginning we aren’t projecting them to be the best team in November. Come February though, they aren’t so young anymore. Panthers win the games that matter and could very well go unbeaten in the SAC. They did beat Homestead last year and are only better this year, especially once they hit their midseason stride.
2. Homestead
3. Carroll
4. Northrop
5. South Side
6. Bishop Luers
7. Wayne
8. Concordia Lutheran
9. Bishop Dwenger
10. North Side
NORTHEAST 8 CONFERENCE
1. Norwell
Why: There is a strong feeling that the Knights are always going to be at the top of this conference. They have some work to do this preseason, but don’t be surprised at all if they end up at the top.
2. Columbia City
3. Huntington North
4. Bellmont
5. New Haven
6. DeKalb
7. Leo
8. East Noble
ALLEN COUNTY ATHLETIC CONFERENCE
1. Jay County
Why: This isn’t a shock. The Patriots should dominate. While there is a fun race behind them, it should remain behind them. Don’t be shocked if Jay County goes unbeaten through the ACAC regular season and tournament.
2. South Adams
3. Heritage
4. Woodlan
5. Bluffton
6. Adams Central
7. Southern Wells
NORTHEAST CORNER CONFERENCE
1. Garrett
Why: The 5 headed monster is going to be problematic for almost everyone. Factor in that they kind of underachieved last season and the Railroaders are going to be a hungry group.
2. Angola
3. Lakeland
4. Fairfield
5. West Noble
6. Central Noble
7. Eastside
8. Prairie Heights
9. Fremont
10. Churubusco
11. Westview
