Connor Essegian had the FAN CHOICE best single game of the boys NECC Tournament

After over 1,500 total votes, Central Noble’s Connor Essegian has won your FAN CHOICE for having the boys basketball best single game performance of the 2021 NECC Tournament, sponsored by Craigville Appliance.

Essegian scored 44 points on Wednesday in an 81-71 win over Churubusco. It was a career high for Essegian and also set a program and school record at Central Noble.

Other nominees included: Angola’s Brian Parrish, Angola’s Joel Knox, Westview’s Lyndon Miller, Lakeland’s Mason Douglas, West Noble’s Austin Cripe, Churubusco’s Gavin Huelsenbeck and Churubusco’s Jackson Paul.

A new FAN CHOICE Player of the Week poll for boys basketball appears every Sunday on with voting running through the following Tuesday at noon.
