
After two weeks and over 81,000 total votes, the first FAN CHOICE of the season is in the books and you have chosen Landen Livingston as your Preseason Player of the Year for the 2020 high school football season.
The Leo junior takes home the first FAN VOTE honor by topping Bishop Dwenger’s Brenden Lytle in the final round of voting. Livingston earned 6,815 final round votes compared to Lytle’s 2,517.
Livingston advanced in voting by being the #2 overall vote getter in the opening round, taking the most votes in the Bailey Parker Region. In the quarterfinal round, he beat North Side’s Arieon McCarter by just over 300 votes and in the semi finals, Livingston topped DeKalb’s Tanner Jack by just under 1,200 votes.
Through all four rounds, Livingston earned 18,439 total votes in the FAN CHOICE Preseason Player of the Year race.
Livingston and the Lions will open their 2020 season on Friday night as they host Woodlan.
