Garrett’s Morgan Ostrowski had the girls hoops Performance of the Week for Jan. 6-11

For the second time this season, Garrett’s Morgan Ostrowski has won the FAN VOTE for Girls hoops Performance of the Week. She earned the honor for January 6-11. It is the fourth win for a Garrett girls basketball player this season.

Ostrowski had 16 points and 14 rebounds Friday in a 42-38 win over Central Noble.  That earned her 61.4 percent of the more than 3,700 total votes.

Other nominees included Prairie Heights’ Alexis German, Woodlan’s Gabby Joyce, Lakewood Park’s Chloe Jolloff, Northrop’s TiAuna White, Bellmont’s Meghan Busick, Angola’s Hanna Knoll, Bishop Luers’ Lydia Reimbold, Norwell’s Lauren Bales and Heritage’s Bree Dossen.

These polls will run each Sunday through the season and are not considered a “player of the week,” but will instead focus on who had best performance in a single game during the week, NOT a body of work during the entire week.
