After a career best performance, the winner of the Performance of the Week for boys hoops from January 6-11 went to Columbia City’s Mason Baker.
Baker had 21 points, hitting 5-of-7 three pointers Saturday in a 57-44 win over Bellmont. It earned him 47.08 percent of the more than 5,000 fan votes.
Other nominees included Snider’s Michael Eley, Snider’s Dillon Duff, Churubusco’s Landen Jordan, South Side’s Treveon Jones, Norwell’s Will Geiger, Central Noble’s Sawyer Yoder, Northrop’s Qualen Pettus, Westview’s Charlie Yoder and Wayne’s Michael Redding.
These polls will run each Sunday through the season and are not considered a “player of the week,” but will instead focus on who had best performance in a single game during the week, NOT a body of work during the entire week.
