Woodlan’s Alicia McMahan has the girls hoops Performance of the Week for Dec. 16-21

The last full week of the year 2019 led to some nice performances on the girls side. At the end of the day, our voters appreciated the work of different face in the Woodlan lineup. That said, the FAN VOTE has chosen Alicia McMahon as having the Performance of the Week for December 16-21 for girls hoops.

McMahon scored a game high 19 points on Thursday in a 64-21 win over Southern Wells. It earned her 49.82 percent of the more than 8,400 fan votes.

Other nominees included Prairie Heights’ Alayna Boots, Garrett’s Nataley Armstrong, Eastside’s Sullivan Kessler, Jay County’s Renna Schweiterman, South Side’s Olivia Smith, Northrop’s Destiny Jackson, Angola’s Hanna Knoll, Bellmont’s Kenzie McMahon, South Side’s Jaci Jones and Norwell’s Maiah Shelton.

These polls will run each Sunday through the season and are not considered a “player of the week,” but will instead focus on who had best performance in a single game during the week, NOT a body of work during the entire week.

Please note: nominees are selected from statistics provided by teams to Outside the Huddle. Is someone potentially missing? Make sure your coach is submitting game night stats and scoring to: othscores@gmail.com
