The DeKalb Barons are still unbeaten and their fans have shown their support, naming Landon Miller the Player of the Night for Week 3 of the prep football season. It is the second time in three weeks that Miller has won the FAN VOTE for the honor.
He ran the ball 27 times for 203 yard and three touchdowns in a 29-14 win over New Haven. It earned Miller 54 percent of the over 3,400 fan votes this week.
To earn the fan vote for week 3, Miller beat out Woodlan’s Trevor Wallace, Columbia City’s Michael Sievers, Snider’s Alonzo Derrick, South Adams’ James Arnold, Carroll’s Jeffrey Becker, Adams Central’s Dallas Schwaller, Homestead’s Luke Goode, Northrop’s Jeremiah Green, Churubusco’s Gage Kelly, Wayne’s Keshaun Fields and West Noble’s Brandon Pruitt.
Fan voting for Player of the Night opens each Saturday morning. You can choose your favorite candidate through the following Tuesday at noon.
