The West Noble Chargers pulled away late last Friday to edge NECC big division foe Angola and take control of the top half of the conference. Part of that surge was from senior Brandon Pruitt, who was selected by FAN VOTE as being the Player of the Night for Week 4 of the high school football season.
He ran for 166 yards and three touchdowns in the 41-27 NECC big division win over Angola. It earned him 49.3 percent of the over 13,500 fan votes cast.
To earn the fan vote for week 4, Pruitt beat out Concordia’s Brandon Davis, North Side’s Duce Taylor, South Adams’ Nic Stuber, Eastside’s Laban Davis, Central Noble’s Kyle Bollinger, Homestead’s Braeden Hardwick, Columbia City’s TJ Bedwell, East Noble’s Bailey Parker, Snider’s Lenny Bennett and Leo’s Peyton Wall.
Fan voting for Player of the Night opens each Saturday morning. You can choose your favorite candidate through the following Tuesday at noon.
NOTE: Your favorite player not getting noticed? Outside the Huddle fan vote nominees are based on game night statistics provided by the teams. Make sure your coach is sending in stats on Friday night to othscores@gmail.com
