DeKalb’s Landon Miller is the Week 1 Player of the Night

Week one fan voting is in the books and you have chosen DeKalb’s Landon Miller as your Player of the Night for opening night of the 2019 season.

He ran for 118 yards on 16 attempts with three touchdowns. He also had two receptions for 75 yards in a 41-39 win over Angola. Miller picked up 42.75 percent of the more than 9,000 fan votes.

Other nominees included Concordia’s Jalen Vanderbosch, South Adams’ Aidan Wanner, Carroll’s Jeffrey Becker, Bluffton’s Cody Mittlestedt, East Noble’s Bailey Parker, Leo’s Peyton Wall, Bishop Dwenger’s Brenden Lytle, Homestead’s Luke Goode, Churubusco’s Jake Fulk and Angola’s Antonio Luevanos.

Fan voting for Player of the Night opens each Saturday morning. You can choose your favorite candidate through the following Tuesday at noon.
