Bishop Dwenger’s Brenden Lytle has the Performance of the Week for boys hoops (Feb. 11-16)

In Bishop Dwenger’s second win this season over a co-SAC champion, it was the all around effort of their sophomore guard that stood out and earned Brenden Lytle the FAN VOTE for Performance of the Week for boys basketball, sponsored by Rico’s Barbershop.

His 13 points and 3 steals played a major role in Friday’s 62-49 win over co-SAC champion Northrop. Lytle earned 41.27 percent of the over 5,000 total votes this week.

Other nominees included West Noble’s Trevor Franklin, Carroll’s Dan McKeeman, Norwell’s Will Geiger, Fairfield’s Cordell Hofer, Westview’s Charlie Yoder, South Side’s Kamron Mitchell, Columbia City’s Mitchell Wilson, Wayne’s Craig Young, Huntington North’s Zach Daugherty, Homestead’s Zak Krueger and Central Noble’s Connor Essegian.
