The Allen County Athletic Conference coaches met Monday night and determined their All-Conference teams for the 2018-2019 season.
Conference champion Jay County placed two players on the first team with Shelby Caldwell and Kendra Muhlenkamp.
They are joined on the All-ACAC First Team by Woodlan’s Addie Bayman, Heritage’s Bree Dossen, Bluffton’s Emme Boots and Adams Central’s McKenna Dietsch. The Jay County duo are the only first year players who are seniors and will not return next season.
The All-ACAC Second Team was headed by Jay County’s Hannah Phillips. Joining her on the All-ACAC Second Team are Emilee Myers and Lydia Loshe of South Adams, Grace Miller of Bluffton, Georgia Hanauer of Southern Wells and Nevaeh Feasby of Heritage.
The ACAC does not name an All-Conference Honorable Mention.
Jay County went 6-0 in conference play to win the ACAC title and they also captured the ACAC Tournament title while going 17-8 overall. They were followed by Woodlan and Heritage with 4-2 conference records. Bluffton, Adams Central, South Adams and Southern Wells.
Bluffton, in Class 2A, was the only team in the conference to win a postseason title with their Sectional win over Adams Central.
