Bluffton’s girls basketball team has now won back to back Sectional titles. As part of that run, Olivia King had a performance in the semi final round that earned her the FAN VOTE for the single game Performance of the Week for January 28 through February 5, as sponsored by Rico’s Barbershop.
King had 18 points on Saturday to lead the Tigers to a Sectional semi final win over Churubusco, 69-31. It earned her 29.36 percent of the nearly 3,000 fan votes.
Other nominees included Central Noble’s Bridgette Gray and Sydney Freeman, Angola’s Hanna Knoll, Jay County’s Shelby Caldwell, Homestead’s Sylare Starks, Lakeland’s Bailey Hartsough, South Side’s Jaci Jones, Garrett’s Kenzie Casselman, Bellmont’s Meghan Busick, Northrop’s J’Asia Scott and Adams Central’s McKenna Dietsch.
