Outside the Huddle fans select Snider’s Gianini Belizaire as their Player of the Year

After fan voting that spanned over two weeks, bringing in nearly 62,000 total votes, the followers of Outside the Huddle have selected the FAN VOTE Player of the Year as Snider junior Gianini Belizaire.

Belizaire was also selected by Outside the Huddle as member of the Big School All-Area Defense. He led Snider is sacks and tackles for loss as Snider won a Sectional title.

The final round of fan voting saw Belizaire beat out Bishop Luers’ Jordan Presley. He garnered 62.28 percent of the finals fan vote that saw more than 27,000 total votes.

In the semi finals, Belizaire topped Bishop Dwenger’s Joe Tippmann with 62.52 percent of that vote. The quarterfinal round saw Belizaire beat out Snider teammate Ethan Hoover with 62.76 percent of the vote. The first round was Belizaire’s biggest competition as he edged Bluffton’s Everett Johnson with 55.76 percent of the vote.

In total, Belizaire garnered 24,846 total votes over the four rounds.
