Columbia City’s Izzy Knitter is the FAN VOTE for Preseason Player of the Year

After nearly 67,000 votes in the finals, YOUR CHOICE for the Fan Vote Preseason Player of the Year is Columbia City’s Izzy Knitter.

In the final round, Knitter earned 87.5 percent of the votes to beat Garrett’s Emma Coffman.

In the semi final round, Knitter received 56.4 percent of the vote in topping Fremont’s Mya Turner. That round saw over 128,000 total votes.

In the quarterfinal round, Knitter was victorious over Central Noble’s Jaylee Slone, earning 76 percent of the over 26,000 votes.

In the opening Region round, Knitter was part of the Poole Region, where she earned 30.5 percent of the 37,000 total votes cast in that Region. That earned her the #2 overall vote total in round one and the second seed going forward.
