No. 3 – JOSLYN BRICKER – WARSAW
Bricker stood at the forefront of Warsaw’s run to the Class 4A state finals last season, establishing herself as the Tigers’ unquestioned leader. As a junior, she earned Indiana Junior All-Star and OTH All-Area honors while pacing the team with 19 points per game and ranking second in every other major category with 5.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 2.6 steals. Remarkably consistent, she scored in double figures in all but one contest and showcased her efficiency by shooting 59 percent from the field. Bricker’s season was highlighted by a 35-point explosion against McCutcheon and a flawless 6-for-6 performance from beyond the arc against Northridge, further proving her ability to dominate in different ways.
Coach’s Quote on Joslyn
“Joslyn is a great player who is capable of taking over a game with her ability to score. This was evident in some of our biggest games of the season last year. Yet what people don’t realize about this kid is everything else that she does on the court. She is asked to handle the ball, she is a great rebounder for someone who is often away from the rim. She has worked hard to become a very good defender and is one of the most intelligent basketball players I know. She is a great leader who always strives to make her teammates better and she is so humble and coachable. Joslyn comes back each fall a much improved player and I am excited for people to see this year’s version of Joslyn Bricker.” – Warsaw coach Lenny Krebs
