Eastside’s Paige Traxler is YOUR FAN CHOICE Preseason Girls Basketball Player of the Year

After more than 122,000 votes in the final round, you have chosen Paige Traxler of Eastside as your girls hoops Preseason Player of the Year.

In the final round, Traxler earned 57.2 percent of the fan vote to top Whitko’s Jayma Stonebraker. Traxler entered the seeded rounds as the 6th seed out of the Regional voting.

Traxler started voting in the Graber Region, earning 35.4 percent of votes between the ten players in the Region; she ranked second. In the quarterfinals, Traxler earned 56.2 percent of the vote over Lakewood Park’s Ava McGrade. In the semi final round, it was Traxler’s 54.3 percent of the vote that beat out Whitko’s Adriyanna Phillips.

Between the four rounds, Traxler earned 145,635 total votes.
