After over 47,000 total FAN VOTES, you have chosen Fairfield’s Carson Smith and Southern Wells’ Kenzie Paxson as having your FAN CHOICE Performances of the Week for boys and girls basketball for the week of January 15-20, 2024, brought to you by Crazy Pinz.
Smith scored 18 points on Monday in a 60-38 NECC Tournament title game win over Angola. That earned him 46.2 percent of the fan vote, topping Manchester’s Gavin Betten and Columbia City’s Brady Hartman, Among others.
Paxson had 16 points, 11 rebounds Wednesday in a 36-35 win over Heritage. That earned her 51.1 percent of the fan vote, beating out Manchester’s Brooklyn Buzzard and Fairfield’s Kaylee Dillon, among others.
The FAN CHOICE vote opens each Sunday and runs through noon the following Tuesday, allowing you to vote on 10-12 nominees on who you think had the best SINGLE GAME performance of the basketball week.
