After over 11,000 FAN VOTES, you have chosen Lakewood Park’s Ava McGrade as your FAN CHOICE Performance of the Week for the first week of the 2023-24 girls basketball season, brought to you by Crazy Pinz.
McGrade scored 22 points Saturday in a 54-30 win over Adams Central.
That outing earned her 47.4 percent of the fan vote, topping DeKalb’s Ashley Cox and Blackhawk Christian’s Allie Boyer, among others.
The FAN CHOICE vote opens each Sunday and runs through noon the following Tuesday, allowing you to vote on 10-12 nominees on who you think had the best SINGLE GAME performance of the basketball week.
