FAN VOTE: 2023 Preseason Prep Football Player of the Year, Opening Round

Is it FAN VOTE time again already?

We open up the 2023 high school football season, our sixth season here at Outside the Huddle, with a FAN CHOICE vote for the Preseason Player of the Year.

Which of these 40 choices do you think has the best chance to be the area’s best player this season?

Voting in the opening round is broken up into four “regions” named after OTH’s last four official Player of the Year winners: Jontae Lambert of North Side, Laban Davis of Eastside, James Arnold of South Adams and Bailey Parker of East Noble.

The top two vote recipients in each of these Regions will advance to a FAN CHOICE Quarterfinal.

This opening round will run through 5 p.m. on July 31
