IHSAA announces new football sectional alignments for 2022 and 2023

The IHSAA on Tuesday released sectional alignments for football for 2023 and 2024.

Below are the new sectionals involving area teams for the next two years.

CLASS 6A

Sectional 2: Carroll, Elkhart, Penn, Warsaw
Sectional 3: Fishers, Northrop, Hamilton Southeastern, Homestead

CLASS 5A

Sectional 12: Anderson, Bishop Dwenger, North Side, Snider

CLASS 4A

Sectional 19: Angola, Columbia City, DeKalb, East Noble, South Side, Wayne, Leo New Haven
Sectional 20: Frankfurt, Huntington North, Jay County, Kokomo, Marion, Muncie Central, Mississinewa, Western

CLASS 3A

Sectional 26: Fairfield, Glenn, Jimtown, Knox, Lakeland, Mishawaka Marian, South Bend Clay, West Noble
Sectional 27: Bellmont, Delta, Concordia Lutheran, Garrett, Heritage, Norwell, Woodlan, Yorktown

CLASS 2A

Sectional 35: Central Noble, Churubusco, Eastside, Bishop Luers, Manchester, Prairie Heights, Wabash, Whitko
