Another week of girls high school basketball is over and we have a FAN CHOICE winner for having the Performance of the Week. Remember, during basketball season we look at a best single game performance and not a body of work for the nominees.
Your FAN VOTE narrowed down the top player from 12 nominees.
Olivia Smith of South Side 30 points on Friday in a 66-59 win over Concordia.
It earned her 24.51 percent of the over 1,300 fan votes.
Other nominees included Woodlan’s Avah Smith, Garrett’s Bailey Kelham, Columbia City’s Addison Baxter, Huntington North’s Taylor Double, Norwell’s Kennedy Fuelling, Homestead’s Ayanna Patterson, Lakeland’s Alivia Rasler, Warsaw’s Abby Sanner, Bishop Luers’ Anna Parent, Snider’s Jyah LoVett and Heritage’s Ella Bickel.
FAN CHOICE Player of the Week voting opens each Sunday and runs until the following Tuesday at 5 p.m.
