DeKalb at Blackhawk Christian, Tuesday
The Braves have a good one this week with a Dekalb team that is highly under appreciated. But at home, the Braves are even stronger as one of the best teams in Class 1A. Worth noting: last week Hailee Kline became the program’s all-time leading scorer. BOUNCE PICKS BLACKHAWK CHRISTIAN
Fairfield at NorthWood, Tuesday
Despite losing their first game of the season last week, Fairfield is still considered among the best in Class 2A and for good reason. They get a decent road test but one that recent U of Indy commit Brea Garber and the squad are up to. BOUNCE PICKS FAIRFIELD
Adams Central at South Adams, Wednesday
Good rivalry of Adams County always makes this one fun. The Starfires have the leg up this season but don’t expect it to be easy when rivalries are in play. BOUNCE PICKS SOUTH ADAMS
Huntington North at Cathedral, Wednesday
Can the Vikings slow down a solid scoring Cathedral team that scored over 50 points per game. We know Huntington North can play at a lot of different speeds and levels but this is a big road test. BOUNCE PICKS CATHEDRAL
Mishawaka Marian at Northrop, Wednesday
One of the best teams in the state visiting a Northrop team that really wants a marquee out of area win. This would be huge for the Bruins but not an enviable task by any means. Can Northrop play at its absolute best and get a huge win? BOUNCE PICKS NORTHROP
Northfield at Columbia City, Wednesday
The Eagles put their unbeaten record on the line again. Their home gym has gotten pretty rowdy for them this season and the advantage there is worth noticing. BOUNCE PICKS COLUMBIA CITY
BOYS
Bellmont at Adams Central, Tuesday
Two more Adams County teams to do battle this week. This is a really fun one and could be the best area game of the shortened week. The Flying Jets don’t get enough love during basketball but Ethan Poling has been playing very well and is one of the best players in the ACAC. The Braves have more depth right now so if they can exploit it down the road, they should be in good shape. BOUNCE PICKS BELLMONT
Central Noble at Bremen, Tuesday
Another good out of area test for the Cougars as Bremen is no slouch. If they can play to the top of their game, they should win this road game but they have to be sharper than they were at points against Woodlan over the weekend. BOUNCE PICKS CENTRAL NOBLE
West Noble at Prairie Heights, Tuesday
Are the Chargers full strength after health issues a week ago? That could play a big role here as Prairie Heights’ Chase Bachelor is one of the best players in the area that not enough people are talking about. The kid can flat out score. But so too can Austin Cripe. BOUNCE PICKS WEST NOBLE
Norwell at Bluffton, Wednesday
Another county battle with Wells County this time. Norwell lost their first game of the season and then kind of walked their way to wins. They have won 5 straight and 4 of those were handled pretty soundly. This could be similar to what happens Wednesday night. BOUNCE PICKS NORWELL
