Amanda Thatcher of Northrop has the FAN CHOICE Performance of the Week for November 1-6

Week one of girls high school basketball is over and we have our first FAN CHOICE winner for having the Performance of the Week. Remember, during basketball season we look at a best single game performance and not a body of work for the nominees.

Your FAN VOTE narrowed down the top player from 12 nominees.

Northrop’s Amanda Thatcher had 15 points and 5 steals on Saturday in a 75-36 win over Leo.

Thatcher secured 31.88 percent of the over 5,300 fan votes this week.

Other nominees included Whitko’s Kloe Krieg, Columbia City’s Molly Baker, Bishop Luers’ Anna Parent, Wayne’s Tani Hairston, Warsaw’s Kacilyn Krebs, West Noble’s Jazmyn Smith, Homestead’s Ayanna Patterson, Norwell’s Kennedy Fuelling, Garrett’s Bailey Kelham, Lakeland’s Faith Riehl and Blackhawk Christian’s Hailee Kline.

FAN CHOICE Player of the Week voting opens each Sunday and runs until the following Tuesday at 5 p.m.
