Week four of high school football is in the books for the 2021 season.

It was a heavy running week for teams around the area, but in the end it was an aerial attack that took your vote. Your FAN VOTE narrowed down the top player in week four from 12 nominees.

Woodlan quarterback Jake Snyder completed 30 of 36 passes for 391 yards and three touchdowns while running for 2 more touchdowns in a 32-19 win over Bluffton.

Snyder registered 50.29 percent of the over 22,000 fan votes; the highest single and cumulative vote total of the season

Other nominees included Leo’s Carson Hoeppner, Central Noble’s Tyler Shisler, East Noble’s Zander Brazel, Eastside’s Laban Davis, South Adams’ Owen Wanner, Bishop Luers’ Sir Hale, Homestead’s Nate Anderson, Adams Central’s Nick Neuenschwander, Norwell’s Luke Graft, North Side’s Jontae Lambert and Fairfield’s Johnathon Estep.
