Week three of high school football is in the books for the 2021 season.
Big yardage numbers through the air and on the ground really seemed to be a theme in the season’s third week. But in the end, your FAN VOTE narrowed down the top player from 13 nominees.
Leo running back Ethan Crawford ran for 148 yards and three touchdowns in a 41-7 win over Norwell on Friday night.
Crawford registered over 36 percent of the over 8,500 fan votes to be the Craigville Appliance Week 3 FAN VOTE Player of the Week.
Other nominees included Heritage’s Eric Rogers, East Noble’s Zander Brazel, Central Noble’s Will Hoover, Columbia City’s Ethan Sievers, Eastside’s Laban Davis, Northrop’s CJ Davis, Bishop Luers’ Carson Clark, Churubusco’s Nick Nondorf, New Haven’s Kamari Clopton, Adams Central’s Blake Heyerly, Snider’s Tyrese Brown and South Adams’ Trey Schoch.
FAN CHOICE Player of the Week voting opens each Saturday and runs until the following Tuesday at noon.
