The fan voting this year pointed the way of the defending Class 2A state runner up and their newest player. Your FAN CHOICE for the Preseason Player of the Year is Aden Dennis of the Bishop Luers Knights.
Dennis secured 54.8 percent of the final round FAN VOTING to beat out Columbia City’s Hunter Herron.
In the semi final round, Dennis won out over Warsaw’s Julius Jones with 50.33 percent of the vote. In the quarterfinals, Dennis was successful with 58.11 percent of the vote against Bishop Luers teammate Sir Hale. In the opening round of voting, with 48 total options over four ‘Regions,’ Dennis received 41.41 percent of the vote in the James Arnold Region, making him the highest vote recipient in the first round overall.
All said in the four rounds, Dennis received 20,312 total votes.
