After four rounds of voting and over 135,000 total votes cast, the fans have spoken in their final FAN CHOICE vote of the 2020 season.
Aden Dennis of Huntington North has emerged as the final fan vote winner after beating out Concordia Lutheran’s Kam Johnson in the final round of voting. Dennis secured 62.24 percent of the final round voting.
Dennis advanced through the fan choice polls from a round of 48, first by being the top vote recipient in the NE8 Region with 38.55 percent of the voting in that Region. In the quarterfinal round, Dennis was the top overall seed (based on first round voting) and beat out Angola’s Giovanni Tagliaferri with 89.85 percent of the vote. In the round of 4, Dennis beat out Rylan Whitacre of Heritage with 56.86 percent of the vote.
Overall, Dennis secured 42,651 total votes through all four rounds.
This is Dennis’ third overall FAN CHOICE win of 2020. He was the FAN CHOICE Player of the Night on two separate occasions in weeks two and six.
