After four rounds and over 72,500 total votes cast, you have made a statement and Homestead’s Andrew Leeper is your FAN CHOICE as the Preseason Player of the Year in boys basketball.
Leeper, a junior, was ranked 21st in our annual Top 50 player countdown.
In the finals of the FAN VOTE, Leeper beat out Blackhawk Christian’s Callan Wood with 57.58 percent of the over 24,000 final round votes.
In the semi final round, Leeper beat out Carroll’s Sam Strycker. In the quarterfinal round of 8, he earned more votes than Central Noble’s Connor Essegian. In the opening round, Leeper had the second most total votes by finishing second in the Caleb Furst Region.
In four total rounds, Leeper alone tallied 20,257 votes.
