On April 15, Outside the Huddle will have our ultimate say as we name our official, exclusive boys basketball All-Area team consisting of the our picks for the top 16 players in the area. On April 16, we will then name our 2019-2020 Boys Basketball Player of the Year.
But first, get your vote in with this crucial FAN VOTE for high school boys basketball this season and before we name our Player of the Year, you can tell us who YOUR Player of the Year is.
We started with 56 players and the top two vote getters from each region advanced to this round where we ranked them and seeded them based on their opening round vote totals. Who had the best 2019-2020 in your eyes?
In this final round, voting goes head to head. Voting for this round is open through Tuesday, April 14 at noon. For a complete schedule of all rounds, see below the polls.
Complete voting schedule
First round (48 players): Voting through Sunday, April 5 at noon.
Quarterfinal round (8 players): Voting from April 5 to Wednesday, April 8 at noon.
Semi final round (4 players): Voting from April 8 to Saturday, April 11 at noon.
Final round (2 players): Voting from April 11 to Tuesday, April 14 at noon.
