One more week to vote for the performance of the week in the regular season and the fans got behind their players. In the end, you chose Lakewood Park’s Caedmon Bontrager as having the best single game performance from February 24-28.
Bontrager had 34 points and 12 rebounds on Friday in a 65-63 win over Adams Central. That earned him 62.93 percent of over 4,200 votes.
Other nominees included Snider’s Isaac Farnsworth, Woodlan’s Joe Reidy, Westview’s Charlie Yoder, Bishop Luers’ Naylon Thompson, Leo’s Blake Davison, Churubusco’s Hunter Perlich, Angola’s Dyer Ball, South Adams’ James Arnold and Blackhawk Christian’s Marcus Davidson.
These polls will run each Sunday through the season and are not considered a “player of the week,” but will instead focus on who had best performance in a single game during the week, NOT a body of work during the entire week.
