The final FAN VOTE for boys hoops Performance of the Week for the year 2019 is behind us and there were plenty of big options outside of the SAC to choose from this week, but the fans picked Woodlan senior Aiden Bayman.
Bayman scored 20 points, hitting the game winner with 10 seconds left, in a 49-46 win over Wayne Trace on Saturday. It earned him 34.49 percent of the over 1,900 fan votes.
Other nominees included Leo’s DJ Allen, Central Noble’s Connor Essegian, New Haven’s Thomas Latham, Bellmont’s Kade Fuelling, Blackhawk Christian’s Marcus Davidson, Westview’s Charlie Yoder and South Adams’ Nick Miller.
These polls will run each Sunday through the season and are not considered a “player of the week,” but will instead focus on who had best performance in a single game during the week, NOT a body of work during the entire week.
Please note: nominees are selected from statistics provided by teams to Outside the Huddle. Is someone potentially missing? Make sure your coach is submitting game night stats and scoring to: othscores@gmail.com
