Girls basketball season is underway and we kick things off with the Outside the Huddle FAN VOTE for who you think is the Preseason Player of the Year.
Voting gets underway today with the four different regions named after four of the best girls basketball players in the area from a season ago. The top two vote getters will then advance on to the top 8 where players will be seeded based on their first round vote totals. From there, we knock the field to four, then two before we name a winner.
Voting for this opening round, with two players per Region advancing, will end on Sunday, October 27 at noon.

First round voting (round of 40): Ends at Noon on Sunday, October 27
Top 8: Voting runs from October 27 through noon on October 30.
Top 4: Voting runs from October 30 to noon on November 1.
Top 2: Voting runs from November 1 to 11:59 on November 4.
