West Noble’s Josh Gross is the Week 9 Player of the Week

As we fully set our sails towards the high school football postseason, our final FAN VOTE of the regular season has kept us in Ligonier where West Noble has the winner for the second straight week, this time with Josh Gross.

Gross an the ball five times for 129 yards, scoring three touchdowns. On defense, he rallied three interceptions of his own in a 42-13 win over Prairie Heights. The senior for the 9-0 Chargers received just over 34 percent of the more than 8,600 votes this week.

Gross narrowly edged out Concordia Lutheran’s Brandon Davis. Other nominees were Leo’s GT Baker, New Haven’s Jakar Williams, Bluffton’s Cameron Coleman, Jay County’s Bailey Cox, Adams Central’s Alex Currie, East Noble’s Bailey Parker, Homestead’s Jake Archbold, Wayne’s Keshaun Fields, Churubusco’s Jake Fulk and Carroll’s Jeffrey Becker.

Fan voting for Player of the Night opens each Saturday morning. You can choose your favorite candidate through the following Tuesday at noon.
