East Noble’s Bailey Parker is your Preseason Player of the Year Fan Vote winner

After two weeks and thousands (and thousands) of votes, East Noble quarterback and safety Bailey Parker has emerged as the fan’s choice for Preseason Player of the Year for prep football in Northeast Indiana.

The FAN VOTE kicked off with 40 players from across the main four conferences in the area. Parker received the most overall votes in the opening round, winning the Joe Tippmann Region with 3,394 votes to be the top overall seed in the 8-player bracketed quarterfinals.

From there, Parker received 923 votes to top Wayne’s Janarion Moore. In the semi finals, Parker survived an epic vote off to beat Snider’s Jayshawn Underwood with 16,381 total votes. In the finals, Parker beat Woodlan’s Ben Reidy with 12,260 votes.

Overall, Parker accumulated 32,958 votes over the four rounds; the most total votes. Parker and East Noble will open their season this Friday at Plymouth.

Check back each Saturday at Outside the Huddle for your chance to vote on the Performance of the Night from a collection of top individual performances from each Friday of football play.
